LB Agar, Miller, also referred to as Luria-Bertani Agar, is a widely used medium in molecular biology applications for maintaining and propagating E. coli. LB Agar, Miller contains twice the amount of sodium chloride as that of the Lennox formulation which allows for the researcher to be selective of the salt content when working with a specific strain.
